Native to the east coast of the United States and weighing in at 1.5-3 pounds, their smoky blue-black skin crisps up nicely and makes for a satisfying contrast on the plate. Black Sea Bass is mild in flavor, perfect for the novice fish eater. It holds together well which makes it ideal for stews and chowders.
