Fennel (Organic)

Truly an herb of the world, fennel adds faint hints of licorice and anise to a variety of cuisines. The edible bulb is made of overlapping layers, like cabbage, with a harder core to slice out. Julienne and add to a slaw; sauté and add to tomato fennel soup; combine with rice or pasta or serve over baked fish.
