Royal Trumpet Mushrooms (Organic)

Also known as king trumpet mushrooms or king oyster mushrooms, these mushrooms are in the oyster mushroom family despite looking quite different. Like oyster mushrooms, they have a super meaty texture and rich umami flavor, which makes them a top pick for mushroom meat substitute. But unlike smaller oyster mushrooms, the stem on this is edible, and arguably the best part to eat. Pan fry mushroom steaks or chunks with thyme and butter; sear into vegan scallops; fry in tempura batter; or skewer, grill, and glaze yakitori-style.
